Biography

Adam Struzik is a Master’s degree student in Data Analysis and Data Processing at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznań, Poland). His interests focus on entity resolution, machine learning, and spatial data analysis.

He is employed as a Specialist at the Centre for Urban Statistics of the Statistical Office in Poznań, where he has been working on the project Geospatial statistics – step by step in methodology and in practice, 101156254-2023-PL-GEOS-STEP, which is supported by a Eurostat grant.

He is also employed as a contractor in the research project Towards census-like statistics for foreign-born populations – quality, data integration and estimation, funded by the National Science Centre, OPUS 20 grant no. 2020/39/B/HS4/00941.

In the OJALAB project, he is responsible for proposing a new approach to estimate the number of vacancies based solely on online and administrative data, using capture-recapture and latent class analysis methods.
